Legion 2 (L2) is a modification developed by Jazz, based on Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13. The project itself started completely incidentally. It was somewhat a side effect of playing around with the v1.13 source code in order to help create a wide range of programs and manuals for people interested in modifying JA2 (look: Jagged Alliance Legion).
More info is available on the official website

@Dacado2,
No, it wasn't.
OK. First I want to apologize for writing only so little info about the upcoming mod - I had some stuff that kept me real busy, but now it's time to catch up ! I'll try to briefly summarize L2's major features (this is mostly for people who didn't take the time to check the official site).
THE PLOT
The story takes place in a tiny country called Osarwia, that has had it's government recently brought down and is now in a big, big mess.. In some sectors you'll end up fighting two different factions at a time and what's more each faction is hostile to the other.
OK, this was about the area of operation, now maybe a little bit about the story itself.
Karlos, a terrorist, kidnaps the daughter of one of the world's wealthiest people - Oswald and flees to an isolated country of Osarwia. For letting the girl go, he demands an outrageous amount of money as ransom.
Your tasks will be to first : find and rescue her from the kidnappers' hands and second : take her to safety, possibly the farthest you can away from Osarwia. Should you fail to do that in 30 days, you can as well pack your bags and go home, 'cause she doesn't have that much time.
OTHER INFO
Some useful info for you Bearpit users - Legion 2 will not only be released in polish but... in english also Responsibility for translating the mod will take none other than TT (Translation Team, quite known here in Poland), led by KhoTar, who is in close cooperation with Liberate Arulco site.
The planned release date is this june/july, but L2 is constantly going through a lot of tweaks and fixes and most probably it will grow to a larger size than it is now, so the actual release may come out a little later than we originally intended. But I guess you can forgive that
Last but certainly not least, is the fact that after all work is done, the mod's source code will be published and everyone will be able to use it in any way they want.
SCREENSHOTS

Got a question regarding L2? Then feel free to hit me up with a pm and I'll gladly answer.
