does RR replace some of the newer options of 1.13 since perphaps it is older than the latest version of 1.13? For example i was reading Off_topics guide to 1.13 and it shows three indicators for each shot fired in an auto burst. And when i use auto it doesn't show those even though i hit the right mouse button to fire say 3 or 4 shots. Also when i had just 1.13 loaded i had the option to pick "sniper" instead of "rooftop sniper". Which of course the sniper is more desirable since u can use it in any situation. (Course i'm not exactly sure what exactly the sniper trait actually does.) Another question i have is - how do the weapons of JA2 1.13 compare to the ones in RR? Does RR add some? I'm wondering if i should play a game through with regular 1.13 before i continue playing RR. I had found a list of guns and what attachments they can use and then i found a gun or two that wasn't on the list.

those three indicators are ham, and with that younger - renegade republic had to be updated for niv iirc, all that has 'vanished' simply did not exist when scorpio issued renegade republic

would i royally screw things up by trying to put the newest HAM in my RR install? well i haven't gotten too far so i guess maybe i could just try it and hope for the best? i took over whatever city is in the place of Drassen and am in the one that is in the place of Cambria right now. Not sure if it's worth all the trouble.... i turned niv off didn't like having to take off my backpack to climb roofs. What is iirc?

'if i remember correctly'

i'd call that an euphemism - either ham and renegade republic require their own exes, you needed to merge them somehow and call what you get frankenstein.

well i can deal with the less options for now - maybe if i start a new game and want sniper trait i'll worry about it- the cth of each hit is something i can live w/o

yeah i didn't do it- but i think my game save became corrupted (i load the game and then next time i go to another sector it won't load) and i was frustrated and started another UC game. I didn't finish UC because i was confused about the police, but i think i understand now. I knew they were enemies but i didn't know how to deal with them. I might go back to RR eventually- i like the game although all the attachments and such were getting me confused.
