Performing autopsies

Anyone came across the feature where if you chop up a few bodies you gain medical skill?

That's pretty cool, i wonder what else they threw in there...

Lol...i guess it makes sense, although if you go around chopping the heads off of corpses all game, surely you'd end up with a Psycho medic. :axe:

You know , I've never actually tried chopping heads off , is it just 'use' machete on body ?

Yep, just have a knife or machete in your Mercs hands and hover the "stab" icon over a corpse.

You've missed out on all the cash from Carmen all these years?

It weighs 2.8 Unloaded in my game and 3.4 with ammo. Do you have an attachment on the MAC-10?

Man this game is indeed for the sniper happy types. I think I'll go for a new start, go all night ops and sniper. I went to chitzena today and managed to get 5 (FIVE) sniper drops. Basically my loadout was a dream:

Treated armour, 45% protection
Full cammo, 99%
Full set of headgear: NVG, ears, glasses, gas mask
Main weapon: sniper 5.56 (didn't get the name), all 4 attachments full.
CQB weapon: modified Commando or HK, silent, full 4 attachments

I was like whoaaa... bring it on baby, you're all so dead. Then I stumbled onto THEIR snipers. Phrrack! Bull died. Phrrack, bye Ira. Phrrack, so long Nails, Phrrack, IMP gone. Actually it took a bit longer due to armour, but i was out of breath and fainted so all it took them was two well aimed shots.

So it's either night ops or bust. Very true. In NO mode I was even able to clear a full 18 enemies sector in San Mona with just my IMP and Ira.

go all night ops and sniper.

It's a favorite perks in our community http://www.ja2.su
Vintorez in D10, H5, J15; Karlos have too.
Barrett, KSVK can destroy jeeps, tanks from 4-5 shots. For shooting you need bodytype="Big Male"/or do shot at prone

Quote:
sniper 5.56 (didn't get the name)

It's "Snicam".

If I know that here snipers, i do this:
- 1 men in Spectra + sniper rifle (for visual range) = Scout
- 1 men with Mortare(Heavy-skill)
Scout run in < 45 degree to sniper-enemy. Then enemy shot to scout - he can't hit Head(moving target). Scout still alive, he stopped. He see in sniper rifle (button "j") all directions. If he see the sniper - no problem - our Mortare shot to sniper. Sniper=dead or poor. Until sniper have no breath, our riflemans running there and throw MANY hand grenades.

If you know, that Sniper at the roof - you can throw at roof many Mustard grenades - and sniper will dead.

Explain the use of J more please. I know it's something about readying your weapon, but how exactly works? If you use sniper rifle and don't press J you have penalty? Or you have better aim with J?

I've found that you must equip with a Benelli and H&k mp5 ( silenced )at the start , shotty will stop them firing back , also cannot unattach items from guns to fit elsewhere and thank goodness for the new exe and sound directions , makes sneaking around and seeking out enemies a lot easier .

Always good to have alternative maps!

***

Has anyone let Deidranna hire from AIM?

I tried it once, Vicki was waiting in Omerta for my team as they got off the Chopper, bit strange but a good alternative scenario.

***

Anyone get involved in the "Hostage" mission?

As I've said Hans went aggro when I revisited him last time so I had to restart. And if you mean how he lets you in to see Tony ...

Toggle Spoiler

And a piece of advice, don't break into Tony's back storage and open any crates. He had only junk there (he keeps his inventory in his pockets, all 200 guns and ammo). But I must've accidentaly picked up something from the crates from Map screen and all hell broke loose.

That unless you REALLY want to send Tony and his pal to a more serene world.

I've noticed a folder in /Data called /MapSettings.

Is this new or old (vs 1.13)? Seems they externalised Enemy Compositions and the basic layout of the sectors (this might be in v1.13 already), like road exits, entry points and alternate maps (StrategicMap.txt).

what i wanted to say

do i have to copy that map to the coressponding _A/non_A and with that extract the radarmaps as well and copy them OR if there is a map (of which there are supossed to be two) in the FOLDER does that randomizer stop searching and takes what it found. didn't need to play with radarmaps then and no need for copying maps - i want to throw out those next-to-vanilla-maps in the ne-quadrant of the country and make the lz with militia default. i like the idea of randomized maps, but i don't want 08/15-maps randomized in if there are new ones.

i hope that makes it clear

edith: i have to copy them - i tested it: gus did not meet militia there
