Hi Everyone,

I've only been playing JA 2 Wildfire for about a week and I discovered this forum just now. I have a few questions regarding the install that I have gotten from GOG.

1) How do I find out what version it is?
2) Which patch should I apply? I found 6.04 and 6.06 but then I saw the 1.13 hotfixes here (http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/4218339/FrontPage) and that's what got me confused. :confused:

Help, please?

 The hotfixes are NOT for retail WF!

Retail WF is NOT compatible with 1.13.

Type [v] while in strategical -> version

6.06 was the last patch I- I never applied it since I didn't like some of the patches "features".

Welcome to the pit - take a shovel and help excavating it.

Thanks for the quick reply! So if I got what you said correctly...

1) GOG Version is retail version so I can only go for patch 6.04 and 6.06?

 yupp but GoG's tend to be patched to the limits

Got it. So what's your version and patch? I am now on GOG patched with 6.04 and I "think" I'm getting a lot of bugs like Fred gone missing in Drassen, etc. I just need to know the best route to take in terms of the version and patch so I can have zero or minimum amount of bugs possible. Hell, I will even get the Non-Retail version if that's what it takes. I'm gonna be on a 7 week long vacation and I'll be playing sunrise to sundown. Very Happy

Who's Heidi? Is that a random script on your sig that asks random questions? Just curious. Smile

 no Fred is there - eastern entrance of the mine facilities - building with the lockers - room east of the lockers

6.04 was fine for me

Cool! I'll stick with my 6.04 GOG, then. Thanks a bunch! Can you point me to an area in this forum with very helpful topics for noobs so I don't keep on bugging you on this thread? :crazy: Thanks!
