@Kazuya: Great work with Spooky's zoomed-in portraits! He effectively stands out much less than before compared to the other mercs. I still have a small issue though - which has nothing to do with your edits, and existed in the original SOG portraits : The BIGFACE portrait looks slightly pixellated, and is still not in comparable proportions with that of the other mercs - the head is much larger, and not in the center of the frame. Would it be possible to fix this? Sorry if I seem to be nitpicking...

I decided to abandon my version of JA Mercs, so this now only has Spooky. I'll help Dimitri polish off his one iinstead. I'll add Spooky to a version of that so the two will be available.

Well, fixing the bigface is possible. But it's certainly not my number one priority for several reasons. In order to fix the issues, which you mentioned, I would have to redraw Spooky with some more of his body visible. That's normally not much of a problem, but in Spookys particular case, that's a bit of a problem, because the palette for his face and background is already fixed. If I start drawing new body parts, and need new colours to create shades in the clothing etc. then his face will end up looking more pixelated and so on and so forth. In short: It's a lot of work for very little gain. Maybe I'll redo it someday, but right now, I have other priorities.

What about Spooky's Skills?

I gave him Machinegunner, Stealth, NightOps.

When see an anemy he say: "Let's rain some lead"
When see more, he say: "3 Man, 4 Bullets, i save one for later"

Maybe Sniper instead of Machinegunner Smile

This is the wrong thread, Spooky isn't the same as JA1/DG Mercs. He's from a mod of JA and i gave him the Skills that the original modder gave him. You can adjust him a you see fit, but i opted to keep him the way he was created.

Yes and no, there was no Ranger skill those days, so you assumed it.

I think he looks fine as he is. It's good to have a bit of variation with the portrait faces, and not all looking directly ahead like a bunch of robots. The tilt of Spooky's head also conveys the old sniper/hunting trait of never looking directly at your prey when being tracked.
