Since the official forum is down, I've not been able to check the status of these items to see if they've been fixed by any of the patches. But last I read, sunglasses improves accuracy during the day but NVGs were completely useless. Is that still true after 1.13g?

Don't know the facts but from experience it seems that NVG do give longer range vision at night.
As for sunglasses I haven't noticed any difference.

IMVHO (sun)glasses are mainly to protect player's eyes from the horribly ugly "naked" faces ... Wink

I did some experimenting and it seems that sunglasses have no effect whatsoever, in spite of the description (and previous reports by some users) that it is supposed to enhance guard range during the day and reduce them at night.

What about helmets with mounted NVG's? Any know if they work?
