Great health to you.
I'm totally agree with you that B2B VM-Edition is a great mod.
The maps are good, but there are some mistakes on them, but usually players don't notice them.
As for your problems. I speak Russian, and I've played this mod. Really it's not a fully Russian mod - it's based on German B2B, but has a lot of changes (portraits, maps, skills, some weapon)
I don't know, where it was originally placed, but there is a copy of the German B2B.

Do you know German? I'm not sure.
So, I can try to help you, but I should warn you that my English is not as good as yours  and it's no as easy as I want to translate large texts to English.

Dolly
Some traits of the mercs are changed. Some of them like pornography or erotica. If this person don't have a special item, his/her moral will fall. If he/she has XXX journal the moral will increase but XXX is spending during the process of reading. After some hours of reading XXX will disappear.
Dolly makes the person, who likes XXX, happy without journals and the Dolly won't lose its quality while you (your mercs) use it. :nails:
Old radio
Do you speak about the item from the north prison (near Carlos).
Firstly you should give it to Carlos, some new parts of the plot will be added to your laptop and then Carlos will die. It's sad.
Secondly, you can give the radio to a man (seaman) in the North-West city (in the port) and he will give you a pipe for smoking.
There could be smokers in your team, they use weeds. If they have them, there moral rises. If they don't have them, the morale of the smokers loses. The condition of a block of weeds decrease, when you use them. But the pipe will serve you forever.
Palm pc, firewire etc is for creating something like a detector from the original JA2.
I can help you with rpc's if you give further details about your problems.

It's my job, hobby and English language school.
lockie1st and second part of a translation for B2B , dunno how this'll go with the VM mod though, I'll make a copy install and try it out. Neither do I.
I think it can help a lot, but there are some changes touching the texts.
I am afraid you have no opportunity to change Russian to English in .exe, but I think, that the main thing is NPCs' quotes and they might be similar in general.
I'll try to translate the list of changes made in VM-edition, cause they might be really important, then we can try to change some files in the translation to make them actual in B2B VM-edition.
But you'll correct my mistakes in them.

I don't want to translate to English the whole phrase now. But the main idea is:
There is a bank.
There is safe in this bank.
In the safe there is a lot of money.
The safe work is connected with the clocks.
The doors are open from 12:55 until 13:00.
The cod from the door to the basement is 23573. I don't know for what purpose there is this code.
