I've started playing JA2 Wildfire 6.04 and I'm really enjoying it, as it's been 10 years ago since I last played the wonderful Jagged Alliance 2. I like the increased difficulty, so far I've made it trough 3 cities on hard setting. But there's one thing that's really putting me off this game right now.

I've stolen Kingpin's money, and I regret that now that I've discovered this turns Tony in San Mona hostile along with the rest of his goons. I don't have a savegame left from before San Mona so now it looks like I won't be able to sell off guns.

My questions so far are: is it possible to hax tony out of the Kingpin faction so that he doesn't go hostile? Or is there a mod that adds another gun trader?

I'm also now realizing that JA2 1.13 is kinda superior to Wildfire. Is it possible to convert a savegame from WF to 1.13?

The goal is changing it mid game, because I really don't feel like starting over. After all the awesome things my squad done so far..

Hello Vandenberg, Welcome to the Pit :wave:
Get stuff done without Tony then. He's not indispensable.
You can only change his affiliation before the game and we can't even guarantee half year old 1.13 saves to load most of the time, much less a Vanilla/WF save.

Okay that's really too bad, I think I would have made some good cash.

Anyway on the topic of savegames.. I have this samegame that was named SaveGame99.sav and renamed it to SaveGame01.sav. It it ten days back in game time, but when I try to load it, after the bars fill it throws me back to the main screen. Is there anything that cane be done with this back-up save. Btw, it is named "Error: ejected CD".
