Attaching this mod causes -20% for the merc, despite the tooltip showing -5% camo. Is this a feature? Thanks!

Rifle LAM (item 949) gives -15% to all camo and stealth just like the description box says, at least in the current GameDir 2385.

I'm using 7435 w/ the 7609 update and the JA2 + fix EXE file. I wonder if that's why it's -20%....

The camo display was different in older releases. As we have 4 types of camo it may be that the display shows the 4x -5 percent as a total of -20 percent in that release.

I think it's a bug. -5% camo to desert, snow, urban, and woodland shouldn't stack. It just be a flat -5% to whatever environment the merc is in.

It's just the way the camo display was handled in old releases. That's why I changed it (r7789 and r7791) so it displays the proper values for each type of camo and stealth. If you want to have that display you need to use a newer version of the game.
