Hi, I'm using SCI rev. 8670, and can't attach detonators to Claymores. Regular explosives have attachment boxes that label the acceptable merge items, but Claymores just have "Default slot #1" and so on, and are shaded out when attempting to merge the detonator. I looked at the XMLs, but couldn't figure out how to change them to make it work.

I assume someone will want to fix this, but can anyone also explain what I should modify to make attaching detonators to Claymores possible? Thank you.

Detonators (item 223) attach just fine to Claymores (item 1523) in my game. The tooltip on the attachment boxes also displays the four attachable items correctly (Detonator, Remote Detonator/Defuse/Combo). Are you using a mod because I don't see anything that needs fixing?

I'm using the Wildfire6.07 maps, but no other mods. I only had the one Claymore I found at the NE SAM site, but after reading your post I checked and the Claymores I order from BR's work fine. I guess maybe the Claymores placed on the maps are bad? I'll check to see if I find any more of them on the map. Anyway, sorry to bother you over this, but thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I also remember some broken claymores in WF6.07 maps (there are directional claymores in editor that should be only used as preplaced mines, items 1584-1590), so they probably should be replaced by normal claymores or needed transformations added to xml to convert them.

Interesting. WF maps originally used the AIMNAS items so I guess those specific claymores were different items before and didn't show up as NADA in the map editor when I cleaned the sectors of NADA items. Well, this could be quite an amount of work to find all of these on the whole map...
