Hi Forum, I´m new here as a member, but read here for many years now, and now I got a question the search did not help me with:

Is there a way to use the XML Editor with recent dev builds?
I find it rather time consuming to use a text editor to change values for e.g. weapons, attachements etc.
The XML editor does that fast and good, but seems to break with any recent dev builds. It works fine with the "old and stable 7609"

How do you edit the XML files to your taste without working through megabytes of XML code?
Is a newer version of the XML editor (or something else) out there I don´t know yet?

The xml editor was outdated and got removed from the SVN. Currently, there is no xmleditor for the newer versions of JA, although one is in the works.
In the meantime you could try a generic xml editor such as XML notepad, which is free and open source if you haven't already, and see if that is more convenient.
