Noticed the camo coverage from kits is 5 %. Should I increase it, since I'm using old inventory system. I think I'm losing out on some camo % from LBE gear, am I correct?
How does the system check the camo type? Should I re-camo myself from desert to urban when moving indoors in Tixa for example?

correct. In 1.13 the camo kit gives 5 % only by default. You can change it in the ini Editor. It's not only LBE gear. It's also your armor and I think your weapons (+attachments) aswell that affect your camo. The game has special camo clothes or stuff you can put over your helmet. The end game camo gear can only be purchased at bobby rays afaik. Haven't seen it anywhere else. Since you're playing with the old inventory i would put the camo from kits way higher. i cant imagine the 5% come really into play. something between 50-100% seems to be fine.
Personally I appreciate the effort the developers put into it to make it as realistic as possible but it can get really time consuming to get good camo. i think you even have to change your whole LBE when going to desert sectors (not sure but it would make sense since there are sand colored lbe gears). Personally i usually set the camo kit effectiveness to 80 %.
I dont know how it works when you walk into buildings like in tixa or the central sam site but i guess the camo doesnt work in there. since the rooms are rather small and kind of lightened up it probably doesnt matter too much. i wouldnt expect not to be seen if you enter without throwing a smoke grenade before.
