One problem that i've met in other mods but it did bite me more this time: enemy troops located in the same sector having different orders. For example: i take a sam site, start healing, repairing, recruit militia. By the time i have 10 green militia, there are 30 enemy soldiers in the neighbouring sector. i decide to attack them, kill 20 and there is a battle over message - no more enemies on tactical map, i can pick up things from strategical map even if there are still 10 red dots in the sector. Still, i can not give moving order from strat map. the usual way is to move out on tactical and then back for the last ones. Now the enemy was faster than me, got to the sam site and killed my militia before i got there... OK, maybe it's even more interesting that way.
Now a question (or two): is it random or with some time limit when Skyrider begins to refuse flying (and should i shoot him then?) and when zerg rush(es) start (up to 240 enemies out of nowhere)?
