All your suggestions are possible, but I don't think that would be realistic... A rainfall isn't exactly a snowstorm, and even then I'd expect the deviance to be very very small.

A bigger problem would be that the 'temperatures' I create for each weapon aren't exactly related to real-world temperature. For example, I have no idea at all how much the barrel of a M16 heats per one shot, and after what temperature the weapon deteriorates.... researching that would be an insane amount of work, i won't do that. Without that data, you can't really set a temperature like 30 degrees, because you don't know what a temperature of 100.0 for that gun mean in degrees.

so, yeah... your ideas are possible, but require too much work for too little gain in my eyes. But thanks!
