 The fact that you considered investing more than $25 is commendable. But what you paid for above that was actually beta access and the t-shirt and the rest of the goodies. If those perks were worth the extra cash, it's only up to you to judge, but that's what you paid for the extra $75. And, of course, to help the game being made (I am pretty sure you had enough Tshirts at home).

Problem was though this game didn't sell to the masses like W2, for example, who racked 37k backers for the $15 tier and 9k backers for $30 tier. JA:F raised about 100k from the "mass sales", while W2 raised 800k. That's where the funding failed. Because BIA, because small community, because low dev profile, because badly made KS campaign, because lack of demo, because every reason in this world. That's the harsh truth everyone needs to consider when judging what they got. It was clear the day the KS ended (even before) that this game will never compare to W2 and likes. And this is why FC deserves a lot more slack than they get - despite the piss poor budget the community provided, they actually managed to produce a decent little game. At least in the same amount as they deserve being slapped around for not listening to all the testers who told them NOT TO RELEASE in October.

To those who say "I don't care about budget, I paid for a full game", I recommend to contact someone in gaming dev industry, show them the wishlists for JAF and ask them if they would make you that game for $350k... see what they answer. It's about time everyone chills down a bit and thinks hard about what can be done with this game. I for one think it's worth saving and developing into something great. If a few positive reviews on Steam will make FC feel better and keep the communication lines open, give them the g'damned reviews. We're past the point of the "I told you so", we're very close to the "to be or not to be" point...
