if its intermitant like that.. something really weird is happening. I'd completely uninstall including a reg cleaner, then reinstall. Test the base Game and make sure it works. if it doesn't give you the problem, make a copy of the good install (preferably on another drive or .iso). Then install your mod to the new 'working' install and test it. IF that works without the issue you can start customizing things for you.

Though since you mention using two computers, issues shouldn't transfer if they were clean download and installs. are you compiling your own or using an SCI? if an SCI, which and from where?
