Thanks for the heads up.. never had that happen before.

The karate things is, some people (and mercs) have the martial arts trait. This gives them a bonus to hit and evade, but more importantly, when the opponent has low stamina, I think he will always perform the roundhouse kick which does more damage and cannot miss.
