hi

i'm lurking this forum for quite some time now an i've got a bit of a problem with Renegade Republic.

I'm using the Jagged Alliance 2 Gold Edition with the JA 1.13 2085 and the All in One Patch for Renegade Republic.

so my game crashes after some time telling me:
Runtime Error
Assertion Failure -- Line 2989 in A .\Strategic Movement.cpp

i don't know what to do and i want to play Renegade Republic with the new INV ^^

nah , don't use it , read below ...... Smile

Go to this link , d/load and use . Less prone to crashes .

i already installed this patch an i'm not even using prone but it still crashes Sad

Did you use the link Offtopic has provided ? And read it ?2124 exe. rarely crashes , go for it :ok:

yep did overwrite those files with your patch

is there a big difference between 2124 and 2322 ? especially with the new inventory
because i played through renegade republic twice and wanted to give it a new try with the NIV ^^

I'm using 2124 exe . day 92 , very rare crashes , freezes , it has niv , but you have to steal it from redshirts , doesn't seem to be any at BR's .

You should be able to edit RR's items.xml to get BR to sell LBE-items. Perhaps western stuff only, with the Russian stuff only available through stealing?

That whole editing thing , scary :scary: , and stealing items leads to a new style of play ( stealth/camo/hand to hand ) , which is refreshing !
