When I first install Jagged Alliance 1 in DosBox, it works fine. However, when I exit DosBox and come back the later there are several problems. The mouse cursor is gone. The mouse still works but its almost impossible to use without being able to see the cursor. Someone online said it has something to do with the game not being able to find the CD, but I don't know what they mean. I mount the disk image but I still have the same problem. Secondly, I was finally able to maneuver the mouse to the A.I.M computer, but it only shows a blank screen. No mercenaries show up. When I play it after first installing, it was working fine, but when I clicked on the "more info" button on one of the mercenaries, the game crashed and DosBox gave me the error message: unexpected interrupt = 0000. Please help. I really want to play this classic game!

Try the DosBox forums. It's probably on there. Wink

I had this issue and came up with a solution. I used notepad to open the CD.ROM file located in the directory, it'll have a letter that instructs the game which drive to look for the CD in. I had been assigning it the incorrect drive letter which is why the game failed to find the CD until I set it to the correct one which is the drive letter you used to install the game.
