Back to the topic...

Next, to the skills section, there's a +(___) section (see image below). For reference, let's call it +SKILL section/field.

What's the purpose of that section?
What is the maximum integer allowed in the game?

Also, what is the maximum skill integer allowed in the game? Is it 99, or 100, or can it go beyond 100?
Example, Marksmanship 99999 + 99

The reasonable assumption is that this represents the points gained per stat since the start of the campaign.
Technically stats can have values from -127 to 127, but the game expects values from 0 to 100 (Exp lvl from 1 to 10). Anything else is risky, knowing vanilla code.

I know now that it could never work between us, as much as we wanted to, it could never be! Not because you're a rabbit, but because you're black.

Yes, as Flugente said and what I recall, that's the gain. It does show up in your stats page. Is that just informative or additional, I don't remember, experiment and see (my assumption is it just informative so 56 +32 means effective 56 still, but I might be mistaken).

For what I recall game truncates any stats that goes over bounds so you can't have effective stat of over 100. Was the autocorrect to 99 or 100 I don't remember. As said, there can be wonders and risks in playing with values outside expected, experiment on your own risk.

altering the plus column doesn't alter the totall stats, it just changes the "learning history" when You look at the mercs stats
