Pass-trough sandbags..

I added sandbags to some of my tilesets. When testing in game characters can pass through them.
I copy and pasted the sandbags files from 1.13 tilesets folders. All 3 files are there (SANDBAG.sti, SANDBAGS.sti and SANDBAG.jsd).
Both SANDBAG.sti and SANDBAGS.sti are registered in my tilesets.
Any hints?

Raise Kerberus PMC cost

Currently doing a 1.13 run with the 28-07-2023 release and Arulco Revisited Maps and everything works fine so far.
Took Drassen Mine and started training up militias, then i was reminded i activated the option allowing me to hire Kerberus personel.
And when i open up the site i notice they're quite cheap, it's like $40 for an experienced militia unit and $60 for an elite one - way cheaper money- and time-wise than training them up yourself.
So i wonder if there's a way to make them way more expensive, to drive the point home that there is a noticable time/money trade-off instead of buying up the available dozens of combatants for scraps and saving yourself the hassle of troublesome training.

textfile location / translation

Hello. I'm playing the German version and unfortunately not all of the texts have been translated (yet).
I would now like to translate this for myself using Google.

I've already found the texts of the emails. But I can't find the texts of the websites from the laptop.
I also can't find the file with the enemies battle slogans.

Non lockable doors when adding more doors types to a tileset.

According to Hawkeye's tut about tileset making there are 8 positions for doors. I can only add two, more are not shown in the list and the second type isn't lockable (I only made two custom tilesets that required more doors, tbh).
Am I missing something?

The heli itself without shadows is 342 pixels wide, so I guess it's the case to chop it into 2 parts at leat, maybe even 3.
Apart from that I'd go for at least an horizontal slice. Is 2 better?

Any opinions?

How to turn an enemy into an armored car/tank?

Turning civilians into vehicle is straightforward, enemies not so much. The editor documentation says it can be done, but does not explain how. Any leads?

EDIT: As far as I can understand you simply can't. Jeeps are set in your mod Ja2_Options.ini, you can decide if they show up or not, and when (Gamr progress). Apparently now this is also the case for tanks, currently. I would prefere a hand-placing setting to be honest.

EDIT: It was a simple matter of detailed placement.. I don't know what I expected it was all about..

Background image holder for Resolution scaling

im working on a basic visual mod at present and need to ask. when changing resolutions there is a large portion of the screen that leaves a black empty space due to lacking graphics to place hold scaling.. its just black. this is mostly noticeable when you look at the the main characters bar during real time and also the loading screens. im looking for a way to replace the black with an image of some sort to fill in the rest of the screen. how would this be possible or is there a file i can just copy paste over?

Problem with new vehicle shadows.

I want to add a few vehicles but apparently I cannot get a single job right..

I opened other .sti files that are in game and I'm trying to do the same:
Shadows are simple .sti.
I gave all my .sti the same background colour, red in this case.
Shadows are blue, this is what I found in other shadow .STIs.
I made .sti for vehicles, their shadows and then the small counterparts for the T folder.
I added the new vehicle to a custom tileset that reads 90% of the material from the generic one. This was made to avoid glitches due to an "overstuffed" tileset.

The current situation:

TRACTOR1: The .sti works and I centered the sprites on the grid.
TRACTOR1S: The editor totally ignores it. It adds the shadow of something else instead.
TRACTOR1 (T folder): The editor ignores it, when generating the radar map the huge sprite is used instead, and the palette is basically corrupted.
TRACTOR1S (T folder): The editor totally ignores it.

EDIT: I tested an AIMNAS vehicle .STI in the editor. It does not work, just like my own.

Now, any leads?

As a sidenote, I just started playing with the JSD Editor. A bit of documentation would help, so prepare for more inane questions..

Solved: It's a matter of registration in the mod Ja2Set.dat XML file. The STI containing the shadows MUST be registered. You never end learning I guess..

I followed Smeagle's doing: Vehicle sti is set to 89 in the xml file, shadow sti is set to 91.
The sprite size in the smaller sti in the T folder is roughly 1/5th of the regular one.
Do add a small sti for shadows, or the game will add a random shadow to the vehicle, when looking at the radar map.
