Hey folks!
Just another fan of Ja2 has joined this great community.
After years of playing Ja2 / 1.13, I'm very interested in modding my favorite game.
So my first question is:
Is it possible to add a visual effect to the muzzle fire, like a tracer have?

Town loyalty capped to 60%

Hello guys.
Playing on a recent revision, town loyalty stops at 60% when previously it went up to 100%. Mine income at 60% is not enough to pay for militia and workers.
Unless I am mistaken I think I have read that town loyalty had been revised a few weeks ago, but I can't remember how.
Can someone explain me how do I increase town loyalty above 60%?

I'm enjoying the many bugs corrections and also loving the logical bodytypes by the way

How to download & install?

How do I download and install Aimnas with big maps? I looked on this forum, on github and on reddit but didnt find anything. On the github there are bunch of files but I dont know how to download them and I dont know how to install them.
Edit : Nevermind I found it, you need to click on the big green "Code" icon and the option to download zip will pop up and then you just dump it into the folder like the 1.13. I think hiding the Zip download behind the green code icon is really stupid and not intuitive but I guess normies like me dont dare to venture to github that often so who cares

Updated XML Editor Beta Release

Heya!
If there are any modders still active, and would want to help testing out an updated XML Editor, it would be really appreciated!
The old XML editor is now compatible with the current GameDir, starting from revision 2628. Loading and viewing XML data should work without issues, but saving a dataset *may* contain bugs that I did not manage to find just yet. Localized strings might also give issues simply because I have not had a chance to test them at all yet.

Sci-Fi Items in Realistic Mode

Is it possible to have the sci-fi items appear in realistic mode? I see the <SciFi>1</SciFi> tag in Items.xml for certain items. If I remove that tag, will those items start showing up in an existing game or will that require a new game?
Edit: Never mind. I tried it out and they appear in Bobby Ray's inventory after midnight of the next day.

Hello,
Does anybody know for a solution of stutters/lags appearing in the middle of the game for some reason?
I applied the patch with the 3 dlls, the most newest one and the game worked perfectly fine without issues. I am in the middle of the game somewhere right now after taking cambria and surviving a counter attack on insane of a lot of elites but during that fight I had some kind of game crash/error and after I restarted the game and reloaded the save then the game started lagging/stuttering pretty badly. I tried reapplying the fix and it is still the same.
Any ideas? Is it an issues with the save now

Ultrawide monitor

Hi,
have anyone been able to play on ultrawide? I have 3440x1440 and when I set this resolution, the scrolling on tactital view is broken (possibly because the area displayed is wider that the sector).
When I tried lower resolution 2560x1080 with correct aspect ratio the game starts in 2560x1440 instead and there are black bars on top and botom of the screen thus image is super stretched.
The best option I found so far is to play in 2560x1440 with black bars,
Any ideas how to fix scrolling on 3440x1440 or to play in 2560x1080?

Axes

Apart from obviously using it to hit people, what are axes good for? I saw that you can switch them to "chopping things", but what CAN you actually chop with them?
