Please everybody who has contributed to the project in a meaningfull manner (e.g. mapping, voice acting, coding 1.13...) put down your names in this very thread still this year if you're interested in testing the first pre-beta version. I think i prefer this internal pre-beta over a demo version
when the pre-beta is in an acceptable state, you'll be notified
that way you'll have a (hopefully) reward for your help and support and can revise your own contributions and the way i'm using them before going public
this will be an unfinished business... err... mod and thus not released to the public. It will lack features that a later full release will include. The team will however be able to gain an overview of what is done and will have all materials do do the finishing touches (lol as if we were that far)
organisation/ coordination details may later be adressed in this thread as well. currently, the intention is to provide existing material (at a certain point) to the team, revise the work that has been done, find and define to-do lists, build a coordinated testing base
so first of all, let's see who's here and interested (amongst the privileged). Note that the "official deadline" is "this year", but that doesn't in any way say anything about the actual point in time i'll be able to provide the pre-beta

:bandit: You have the name, although it will not be written in this thread. Take your time with that 'pre-beta' please, most modmakers seem to suffer an "I-can't-bear-anymore" syndrome, after working at something this size for as much time as you have.
Besides,I'm currently working on a S-E part of the current map add-on (16 maps) myself, with lots of mountains and cliffs, rivers and forrests, so I really don't know if my computer could stand another JA2 installation.Got a freshly updated 1.13, a 1.07 with the old editor and UB on it, on different partitions.
And I really want to give this RR test&polishing operation the attention and consideration it deserves.

Well, I'm not a coder of v1.13, only the weapon master, but I'd like to test your work (honestly, it gets somewhat boring running around the old maps, waiting for BR to stock the newly added guns, and then find a sector with enemies to test them on [which means I restart the game a lot])
Hmmm, stopping the Drassen assault during a thunderstorm with the new .45 WM guns was fun, though
