Khor1255That's right about Len. He always appeared as white until pretty recently. I don't know if this was because of a few defective play discs that I bought or what but before I looked at Proedit the first time I was unaware that he was supposed to be black. He niether looks, sounds or has any indacationof being anything other than an extremely white man.

another one that plays with a weird color/ contrast setting
look at the contrast between len's facial color and his grey hair. White man don't look like that unless they've spent ages on a sunbench (plus the face's shape)
plus, what skincolor rating has Len, Blackskin or tanskin?
Len to me is another totally stereotypical black gunnery/ drill sergeant kind of figure that you'll pick up in every second war-related action movie. Almost all ja2 characters have to fit certain stereotypes, Len included 
of course, since there's no races in RL, proedit's races rating can be confusing. Skin color is determined by quite a number of different genes which means you can possibly get all thinkable shades/ colors there. And given ja2's 256 color palette's added to this, it can be confusing. But for me until now, both Magic and Len were clear cases.
but it's not impossible they've treated him as white previously. Would be quite odd, but why not, as the skin tone of a person, especially under certain lighting conditions (ja2's mug shots) can quite reach an area where you wouldn't be able to easily decide whether to call that "black" or "white".
So for me, the thing that made me decide was the stereotype figure, not the actual mugshots alone
