Hi,
I've run into an assertion failure(yet i know, that these are mostly optional and crash only in debug version):
when loading a game that automatically enters tactical screen (rather than loads the map) and trying to use the hold-rbutton menu, it runs into assertion failure on MapScreen.cc:8010.
Seems that loading game itself does not populate gCharactersList (which is done when loading mapscreen automatically). Furthermore, gCharacterList is not trashed when leaving to lobby and, thus, sequence
1.start ja2
2.load game&enter tactical
3.enter map
4.abandon to lobby
5.load the same game
6.use hold-rbutton menu
works ok, since the array will be filled in on pt3, but might be harmful when we use another save, etc.
couple more questions:
1. is there any `civilized bugtracker` to follow stracciatella dev-process?
2. tron, could you please update ja2.dragonriders.de, since it is the first link to be returned in google. its forum and irc links are pretty deprecated and judging by them when svn repo was down for a while i used to think that stracciatella is dead

TronThanks for reporting this issue. There is a (vanilla) consistency problem with the character list.
1. There is no bug tracker.
It's a pity, I do C++ for living and I sometimes need insignificant context changes to maintain optimal performance. Currently, I use this time to surf the net but it's easy for me to lose grip on time this way.
I thought of switching to any other projects of my own, but they are mostly pathetic, since I don't have much time to thoroughly build them from scratch. But if I can help existing project and furthermore, if I can help my fav game of all times to run smoother on *nix (and actually anywhere I'd prefer doing it rather than writing something completely useless. And something like fulfilling minor bugfix/feature requests (whether they came from outside or the inside the `stracciatella`) would be just perfect, imho
