Ops, I broke it.

Omerta Rebel HQ, got an invasion (yes Omerta ain't safe heaven anymore, sniff). I was just near the stairs to HQ, i went down. Instead of going Real Time the game went into TB mode. I exited to surface again... and it got stuck. Clock cursor, Opponent Turn at 10% done.

Btw, NO seems to be riddled with the old JA2 stopwatch bug. v1.13 fixed this right? Maybe someone should send them the code for next patch.

Weight of Mac-10 is 4.1 kg same as a heavy shotgun. Making it quite cumbersome and useless.

Stopwatch occures mostly when you're sneaking in stealth mode. Game cruches data so hard it keeps the stopwatch going for a while. But with the exception of the "intentional" bug above, which made me kill game process and load a save, the others weren't critical.

Btw, if I should use the exe with HEX in name, right? That's the right exe?

And if I edit weapon stats - such as the weight of the Mac-10 (really getting on my nerves not to be able to use such fine weapon), then I need to restart the game? Or I can continue my save?

Scheinworlds "HEX" exe is the latest NOPS exe partially translated into English, so yep, it's the right one.

This is the most this game has been played/talked about in the Pit so maybe there are outstanding bugs/oversights.

Not sure about the MAC-10.

EDIT: Did you install the Patchv1.02 first?

EDIT2: Had a quick look there, the MAC-10 weighs 3.4 loaded and 2.8 unloaded.

I triggered another nasty bug. I went back to San Mona to sell some junk to Tony. We parted friends, although I did break his storehouse door (without stealing anything). The moment I arrived in shop door, Hans went aggro. I killed him and stepped in. Tony laid a burst on my IMP, left him unconscious.

I exited to map screen to load savegame... and my Options button is greyed out. Basically i am stuck, unless I kill the process I cannot exit game.

Well, I also experience long stopwatches time after time. Generally, NightOps in this respect feels very 'vanilish', compared to quite speedy v.1.13.

Some bugs and mismatches(v.1.02):

1. Firstly, very annoying - time does not flow in turn based mode. I had a 30 minutes(real time) battle Mercs&Militia vs Army which was played in full TB mode and in game time took one minute :dontknow2: Disappointing and frustrating - so valuable mercenary reinforcement from nearby city sector, which I had ordered, came only after the battle.

2. Collimator scope(on P90) seems flawed - second aim-click adds negative bonus to accuracy.

3. Vanilla left-over - grenades which explode on the roof, injure people inside the building. Annoyances with civilians!

4. Heavier and lighter grenades have the same throwing range.

5. Strangely enough, additional night illumination control (ALT -/+) does not work. I remember it working on older .exe versions, though.

If you have SniperScope/NightScope and click right mouse button then Collimator not working - SniperScope/NightScope is working.

At night all tanks and jeeps burn real nice but I happened to destroy a tank in daytime and it was burning in weird psychedelic colours. OK, that does not bother me. What bothers - sometimes jeeps become indestructible. Has happened twice: a jeep is stuck between a tree and another, already burning jeep. Not moving, not doing anything, and I can bomb it with all kinds of grenades and mortar shells without doing any damage to it. Could not do anything else than leave the sector and return

happnened about 3-4 times in the whole campaign, that means in over hundred battles. the moment when game goes from turn-based into real-time, but the battle is not finished, somebody says: its not over yet or something like that. i think its usually random who says it. so sometimes i got "Barry says..." and the problem is - i had not Barry in sector or even on my team at all. so it seems in some situations some random variable that should go over mercs in sector (or, really, over their numbers in table of mercs to find corresponding replica from their speech table) gets compromised. equal to zero, obviously, as Barry is the first one (or #0) in table. its kinda nuisance, as the portrait frame does not disappear from the screen for some time. still, if a variable gets illogical value, there is usually some error elsewhere: some other function writes its result into wrong place or something like that.

Hey,

today I wanted to play NO so i downloaded and installed all the files. Everything seemed to work, but for some reason the A.I.M Website doesnt work properly, because the links don't work, so it is impossible to hire anyone...

Maybe reinstall? Or is it a known bug?

Do I need UB for it? I thought the "normal" Ja2 is the only game needed?

The Website shows up but the buttons "Members" "History" "Links" "..." are not clickable. Nothing happens. I maybe should reinstall, perhaps i did something wrong... It's weird, everything seems to work properly, but i guess in NO it is impossible to just fight with your AE Very Happy (he actually was killed instantly after landing in Omerta *hehe*)

I reinstalled Ja again and than nOps, which didnt fix a thing. It really pisses me off, because the mod sounds pretty interesting Sad... And I dont think, that it's my fault, because other Mods like Deidranna Lives or Urban Chaos seem to work without any bugs(except the known bugs *lol*)

I maybe should redownload all files...
