There are so many stickied threads in this subforum that they obstruct the view on the regular new topics. Am i the only one who is annoyed by that? Therefore i would propose another subforum, the "Sticky Archive", like the "v1.13 Mod XML Customization" one, where older threads that haven't seen traffic would be moved to. That way they won't get lost and can be moved back anytime too.

Scroll down?

Also, the stickied threads have far more traffic than the non-stickied. The last thread on the 1st page is from 3 months ago. Not exactly "new".

I don't see the need of stickying most of the threads at all. A thread where active development and feedback is taking place doesn't actually need to be stickied because it will doubtlessly linger among the top few threads anyways. A project that is in hiberation with no active development going on doesn't really need to be stickied either, as it's better buried until resurfacing when the developer returns to work. The only threads that would need to be stickied are those that contain important information where there's little need of a persisting discussion, as they tend to get quickly buried otherwise.

When I first came to the forums I actually didn't realize that there were so many stickied posts that I simply thought that new posts were deleted or hidden from view. Now that I've gotten used to it, I don't really find it annoying or feel there's any particular need to change it, but I don't quite understand the importance of stickying everything- especially when there are so few active threads anyways.
