Hi, i'd originally played vanilla JA2 where the Drassan counterattack happens a couple of days after you take all 3 sectors, i installed 1.13 and 15 enemies attacked the airport literally an hour after i had taken it...is this normal for 1.13?

It kinda ruined my plans of taking the airfield and the mine Sad

 they were just in the vincinity - prepare for the dca after you took the whole of drassen - within hours and by between 80 and 140 enemy troops

yeah i've had the 80 and 140 troops before with 1.07, at least that gave me a few days to hire a couple of extra mercs, replenish ammo and mend my guns

this time i've got 2 broken SMGs, 2 makarov pistols with no 9.19 ammo, only got half a medikit and no time to get any reinforcements myself!

ah well, suppose i will have to hide in the hangar and lure them in Very Happy

 It was the infamous #1 tactic in Starcraft multiplayer back in the day--infamous enough to have a section in a WP article anyway. The point is that it revolves around a huge rush early in the game, hence the Drassen analogy.

I recall making a joke about it when Ken Jennings eventually lost his 70-game Jeopardy streak to some lady named "Nancy Zerg" several years ago. Even he couldn't beat the Zerg rush. [/joke from 2003]
