Hi Dieter,
first many thanks for your reply! I know eleven .edt files are a lot of work and I don't want to play marko's part now! You can believe me I wouldn't ask you or any other German speaking user here with good English skills for help if I wouldn't really need it, but in this case I just need some support. If we could finish the English translation for Venegance-1.13 this mod would surely become more popular and more people would play it of course. I think it's worth the trouble!
DieterYo Schein, would you mind post the text here and I'll translate it for you, same way I did above?

DieterMake the RPC names bold instead of using quotes, it is easier to edit for me. Eleven might take a while, maybe we do it in groups of four?

Yes, for only one (or two) person(s) it's a translation nightmare, that's true, but what happens if eleven people (or more ) would help with translation? Of course I know that this is just an ideal case and (unfortunately) not very realistic.
BunsMay be there should first be a made a rough translation and then some native speakers of English can polish them up for proper slang and wording?
Well, I see your point, but a very rough translation you can also get via an online translator if you really want that. The question is the same like in the first part: Where are the motivated English speaking members who are interested in helping with translation and finally playing an "English" Vengeance-1.13 mod? *wink*
Maybe you are a native English speaker as well and want to check my first rough English translation of "Eagle" (065.edt)?

Hello guys,
You really brought a smile to my face and the only thing I can do is to write:

I will include your fine translations today in the evening/night when I have time for it (@ Hawkeye: I will also check the "fool" again ) and then I will answer in a more detailed post.
Just four (!) .edt files left: Ilja (068.edt), Fish (069.edt), Cyborg (070.edt) and Joey (071.edt)!!
Btw yesterday night I've thought (and already checked the necessary files) about the integration of Scorpion's innovative "Playable Characters Mod" into the Vengeance-1.13 SCI. That would allow the recruitment of nine additional characters: Perko, Maria, Skyrider, Fred, John, Matt, Oswald, Calvin and Carl. In that case I would build two Vengeance-1.13 SCI files of course, one "Original" and one "feat. PCM" (or better as a Vengeance-1.13 PCM patch?). What do you think about this idea?

- Updated 064.npc file from current SVN for the \Data\NPCData folder for an easier and more realistic recruitment of Slay
- Updated 007.edt file from current SVN for the \Data\MercEdt folder for correct subtitles of Ivan
- Exchanged some speech files and/or used existing files for new entries
- Complete punctuation mark correction
- Added missing English "description" for the working flamethrower (uiIndex63) and the flamethrower clip (uiIndex115) in the "Items.XML"
- Proedit changes: added Grizzly as Buddy "Merc1", Wolf as learn to like merc and Dr. Q as Hated "Merc1" for Tanja "Wildcat" Bornell (Slot 50); added TNT as Buddy "Merc2" for Sparky (Slot 59); deleted Steroid as Buddy "Merc3" for Fish (Slot 69), because of unsuitable speech file; deleted Buddy "Merc1, 2 & 3" for Joey (Slot 71), because of missing speech files

As Scorpion wrote me it is no problem for him if we continue with English voice recording for Vengeance-1.13 as long as it's been made in good quality of course.

Progress continues with the fully English translation of Scorpion's 'Vengeance' including:
New voice acting for Colonel Ayala, Big Red, Morris, Natsuko as well as TNT being currently recorded
Revised quality graphics of Merc's Wildcat, Guard, Colonel Ayala, Dick, Fish, Ilja Dolvich and Sparky
Newly working revised weaponry among other developments
Heavily modified new mining maps
Updates continue behind the scenes, so interested gamers should be pleasantly surprised when final work is released, however feel free to post here on this forum any questions or suggestions.
We are still looking for voice actors for a handful of remaining characters, so if you have a microphone and think what it takes to portray some clear speech for the game, please contact me here. Arulco is full of non-native English characters, so don't be afraid if your accent is strong, I'm sure we can find a suitable character for you.
