Hi
No clue if i whrite in the right forum, apologies if not...
But its a very rich forum and as a new comer, i get really lost here... especially since i do not feel that confortable with english language.

So i played JA2 10 years ago, and just "re discover" it few month ago with 1.13, and really enjoyed it.
Btw after the recent liberation of Arulco (expert mod)i feel a bit tired with Deidrianna so wich mod should i try now?

I am looking for a place that is not Arulco.
And very important a mod that use some features from 1.13 especially supression fire ( i tryed this week end Renegade Republik for 1.13 very interessing mod but i am frustrated that the opponent seems never pinned down)

Going by your specifications Urban Chaos 1.13 is probably a good choice because it uses a whole lot of the current 1.13 magic.

Sad to hear that you dont like RR, or rather that it has no "real" suppression. It is one of my all time favourites but has been made so long ago that a lot of the new stuff is incompatible. Still, great setting, maps and story.
The Night Ops mod is also very good, though again it is not up to par with the current 1.13 builds and it is still set in Arulco, though the maps have been changed significantly. But it has moving and firing Jeeps. Very Happy

Thanks you for answering guys, i am gonna take a look.

@Hazmat, as big fan about everithing that is moreless related with Russian world( i chose in priority Russians guns and mercenary) i really like RR actually, the story is indeed really nice (thats why i choosed that one) and many stuff and features are really cool (Molotov Coktails are lot of fun for instance)
Quite ironically i just made a mistake by playing first 1.13 cause the fighting mecanics are more interressing to me, and its the best part of this game to me unfortunatly.
But i ll let it on the computer for a little while more just to see if i can enjoyed it a bit Wink

Yeah i can understand that quite well. Razz
When you go back to older mods after playing with the current 1.13 stuff there are quite a few things you might miss. Had that same feeling.
In the case of RR though it at least has the new invetory system.
Thing is though, as much of an RR fanboy i am, the mod has its technical flaws. Mostly due to its age and the tools at the time. You have to be very carefull which exe you use to play it otherwise you will face unaviodable crashes in the long run. Also enemies dont really drop LBE gear and you cant buy it on BR. You are more or less forced to play a hand full of battles with drop-all to get legrigs, vests and backpacks.
Another thing is that quest triggers are a little wonky and you kinda need the translator(Irina) to properly talk to most people. Otherwise quests and functions might not trigger.
Lots of people ditch her and cant enjoy the mod to its potential, she gets quite good as a soldier later on.
Still, the east european setting, reworked weapon&attachment system, the numerous new RPC
