Hi all, I'm trying to play JA2 1.13 with the update 4552 from a clean Gold installation.

My pc is a laptop, an Acer Aspire 5742G with an i5-480M and a Geforce GT 540M, running on windows 7 professional 64bit.

My problem is that once the game leaves the main screen (the one with Start new game, preferences, etc), it becomes very laggy and choppy, mouse pointer feels "heavy" and the overall performance of the game drops a lot, but this only while playing in full screen (15.4 in display @ 1366*768 32bit): if I go for windowed mode in the inieditor, then all is good, the animations are fluid and the interface runs very smoothly, but the windows is really too small to be playable...

Any help?
Thank you for your time!

REsolved, it was dsome kind of conflict between the integrated Intel GPU and my 540M... I tried letting the intel graphic visualize the game and all was fine! Very Happy

What was the exact setting you had to change to make it work?

I thought about this quite a while Ankareth, and I assumed it had something to do with CPU emulated Direct X versus native card Direct X, but my theory was too vague to post.
