Hi, how are you doing?

I thing I'm going crazy... or getting stupid. No Idea which one it is...

The 1.13 Sounds.xml contains several links to files that don't exist, yet work in game...
Entry 156 and 157 state SOUNDS\WEAPONS\SILENCER 02.wav and ...03.wav.

03 is the one I'm in need right now, but the file search dosn't turn up anything.

Am I missing something?

addendum...
When the MercProfiles.xml is changed, or more specificly, when I change Merc Traits, why aren't the changes shown in the Stats menu of your Personnel Manager?
On that matter, how can that be adjusted?

Okay, this is a bit complicated.

  • Search for a tool called SLF Explorer (Kermi's archives will surely have that).
  • Start that tool, then open the file Data/SOUNDS.SLF in your directory. This file is not under SVN.
  • Under WEAPONS, you will find the file.

If you want to alter/add new files, just add those to Data/Sounds, they should get precedence over files in that archive.

Merc Profiles are stored in savegames during a campaign. Changes will only affect a new game.
