I'm just wondering, how exactly did the 1.13 select candidates for the 1.13 new characters voice acting?
Further more, how was it possible that you even created GERMAN voices in German? I mean this sounds like a colossal work.
I would presume you selected volunteers based on some probing lines that they should have read or interpret.
And also where did they register their voice lines? Each's in his own private super studio? Because the sound quality is just great!
I was interested on the subject since i am super fan of the German language, I am really studying it for pleasure and i was wondering if you guys are in need of some voice actors that can pronounce German a little less in an authentic way.
Very interesting subject, looking forward to talk on it!

Actually that's what i was thinking of - although i really want these voices to be top notch quality - and i don't know if I'm top notch quality of a voice actor. Although - i really played on stage in real life as an actor at some point...
Now I'm somewhat of a lawyer - i am not sure how i can hold this relevant to the topic but i would really would like to help you guys on it.
Myself i got a pretty low pitch voice, low tone. My English is... very round - some said i could be confused with native speakers, to make a short list it varied from:
"You sound a bit": African, Arabic, Indian, Russian, Native English speaker, no special accent.
Those were the impressions from different people, which was a bit confusing for me to interpret them.
All in all, i would really put my time for German spoken texts, for the German version.
I know German to some extent, and reading is almost very easy for me. I am thinking you guys could give me (ANY) a German character from JA 2 that doesn't have already voices in German and would also fit a non Native-German spoken German. (What i tried to say is like how Igor speaks english but it has that english that sounds spoken from a russian).
Also - what are new DG mercs? And what exactly did wildfire add in criteria of new mercs?
Are there currently any fan made voices in German language that needed to be filled ?

Oh... Ok i had the feeling that the voices from JA 2 for the "new" characters were actually fan made by forum users, or other volunteers.
But still, i don't get it, there are a lot of characters added, some of them i thought they were added by the 1.13 dev team. From where did they get their voices?
And who's Spooky?
Also, is there a real need for contribution for German voices ?
