I suppose that you used your old copy of The Mercs Speech (v2).

Archive with music contains only music. And there is no sounds for Jack and Brenda yet. I have wrote, that now I know, how to extract them from JA1 and place into our modification. But Jack and Brenda have about 300(!) of audio files. I have to divide or combine some of them and rename all of them in a right way, then check that in general it works fine and only after that present them to you.
I am doing it nowadays, so I hope they'll be ready soon.

When I was drawing this map (B6), I placed M14 but didn't trapped it. I don't like trapped guns really and I think, I didn't know about the fact, that it must be trapped. But later Terapevt checked items on maps, added some new items and made some corrections, for example, he trapped this gun, because it was trapped in JA1.

Or you can try to find that the gun is trapped first. For this purpose use the most experienced merk. Then try to take it by Fidel. Finding and disabling of the traps are different actions.
I don't sure that this works with an item, but it works with trapped doors.
