The kind of player I am always tries to find the most successful way within the confines of the system. That includes exploits, although I try to identify those and may decide to find a different way.
Something that I have noticed in the last couple of years is that the AI is terrible in working with doors and the new Interrupt system. I just defeated the Drassen Counter Attack (about 60 enemies, mostly elite) with just my Exp. 5 IMP and his Glock 18 alone on Insane difficulty (with minimal saving/loading), by just standing inside the mining commission, two tiles southeast from the door and shooting everyone who came through the door. With a 0/18 Glock and Glaser (later I had to use HP, cause I ran out of Glaser) I managed to kill 4-5 soldiers every turn. Sometimes I would have to go outside and make some noise to get more of dem fools to come in...
Do you ever use this method?

I wasn't complaining, there are always limitations to what the AI is capable of. What would do the trick, however, would be just staying outside. If the AI didn't storm the building like a horde of lemmings with a death wish, I'd be pretty screwed in my little bunker, as in contrast to the AI, I do have a real life and I'm not willing to waste my time pressing "d" for hours.
But then again, this really wasn't a complaint and I am kinda glad I could deal with the counter attack in such a manner rather than a drawn out, hours long battle with wounded or dead mercs.
An also, this is really similar to fighting from rooftops back in the day, when the AI was to stupid to climb up themselves.
