I have switched computers from one running windows XP to one running windows 7.

I have downloaded the newest build and loaded it onto my computer. From what I see, you folks have worked wonders on the game. I am excited to get further into the game. I have encountered a few issues and was hoping for some enlightenment from the forum in solving these issues:

1. In the previous JA2 games, the save games and created IMPs were stored in the game main directory. I do not see these in the JA2 gold game directory and was hoping that some one might be able to tell me where they are on my PC. I have looked for them and haven't found anything. I would like to delete stuff from them. There are saves and characters from the game I uninstalled that are still in the system

2. I used the XML editor and changed up some equipment for my merc starting gear, saved it and when I started the game, none of it appeared in my mercs inventories.

3. Finally, I changed some data in the Ja2_options and in the 1.13 data folder, and none of these changes were reflected in the game I started.

This was a fresh install and the first time I played the new mod.

If there are some answers out there, it would help make my day to get them>

Don't install to Program Files or any such folder.

Thanks for the info and help. I re-installed the game outside of the C;/Program Files and it works great. Love all the changes and updates and tougher enemies:) Was still wondering if anyone knows where the save game folder went when it was installed in the C:/Program Files area. If someone could share that info, I would be appreciative. Have a great day and thanks for all the improvements to JA2:)

Well, the only place I know it puts saves in is the profiles folder (root ja2 folder/Profiles/UserProfile_nameofmod). If you can't find it there it must just be gone.
