i don't know if this goes here but i heard something about AIMNAS not being able to work with the IMP gear selection, is that true? or there's a way to make it work with it?

the thread it's a bit old tho, i was wondering if actually it's possible to play aimnas with it.

i was afraid of screwing my game up 
so i wanted to know what others had to say, btw ty i'll cross my fingers and check it out, i just hope it works.
EDIT:
i tried to install the gear selection JA2 exe
since that i starter having this problem again:

well first i was using the one from http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/4218339/FrontPage
it was going just fine with AIMNAS so i kept it like that until i saw the gear selection and i liked it, so i went for the the JA2_7953 (i guess that one is the latest) that it's here https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=013a6926eac52083&id=13A6926EAC52083!202
actually i wondered something could happen if i installed that new exe files (ja2.exe and MapEditor.exe)with Aimnas alrady installed, but since the game didn't give any other errors until i started a new game and i had that error before i thought i could fix it by just changing something in the configuration, but just as i thought, i have to reinstall everything again right? :/
i just didn't wanted to reinstall because i made some items in the mxl editor and i didn't want to lose them but i guess i'll just backup the .STI images and make them again. i would put them as request on the AIMNAS item request but i don't want to annoy with all those requests.
EDIT:
i'm sorry if i'm like really annoying but i just made that and everything was going just fine until i tried the "new gear selection method" in IMP and then i got this message:

You can try find sci for "Jagged Alliance 2 gold + 1.13(7609) +smeagol's mod.exe" somewhere to play,so far its still playable for my old com using 800x600,16 bit window mode.
Most of time only lag when militia/mobile militia battle especially when they auto resolve i need wait few minutes to load and see the result pop out.

Anyway...not sure if itz bug or something.
Sometime when enemy prone/get hit then lying on floor,i can shoot them but bullets just hit the floor even i'm right infront their face no matter which gun, bomb did works .
i'm not sure if what i do affect the game like after escort skyrider back to his heli,quest done,after that i click skyrider and it ask me escort again but i deny,i out map after sometime queen army attack,i did't notice if skyrider dead or alive after that but laptop did't write anything about him dying, then just notice i can't use heli.
after sometime maybe when i used moveditem on the squad,enemy attack,i can see my merc portrait,can click them,hear them but they not showing inside the map,no yellow dot. then it happen to all other merc sector that're in,only return normal when i move them to other sector then back or set route then cancel. then the game start doing that alot i had to restart new game 
sorry for my poor explanation and thank you for the mod,been long time since i played 1.13 better AI lasttime and alot new stuff pop out now

i'm using a ASUS x43u :/
1Ghz dual core and 2gb ram
i tried the resolution thing and it didn't change like too much it was still like in 4 or 5 fps.
but i tried a last thing that was changing the compatibility to Windows 2000, incredibly it really helped. now i even can move the inventory without fps drops. i don't know how but since it works now, i'm happy. now my JA2 it's perfect! (but it always can be even more perfect)
just a little thing, i know this is a configuration issue but which parameter i need to change to fix this?, it's just that AI turns have like speed modifier and go too fast, and i like to see what they do, i don't even know why it is active by default.

Aaand now i'm having another little issue, this time is about spies.
so... i have a spy on my team and i disguised it as the enemy to make way to the rest of the squad trough drassen, but after some time i don't know what happens or what causes this but the game freezes and doesn't move anymore, no error screen, no more information, just freezes. i checked already and is not my computer, i tried in a better PC and i have the same problem and always is with disguised spies, and maybe with enemies nearby. this is a Screen of the game freezed, just there everything stopped working, and i had to close the game with the task killer, i would like to have more information but as i said i had no error message it just freeze, also i waited to see if it would unfreeze, i even get sleep and nothing happened.

Actually i edited the comment lol, i was having a problem with a Bobby Ray shipment, i forgot that when the shipment arrives it sends a e-Mail and i thought that the AIMNAS shipment box was elsewhere, i tried to delete the comment but i couldn't so i just edited it to say fixed. but about the game freezing thing i fixed it by downgrading the 1.13 .exe version as other user told me, looks like AIMNAS has issues with the newer version, so to work without constantly crashing needs the 7338 executable version.
that's the fix for the problem with AIMNAS and 1.13, i hope they fix it soon because this version has a weird glitch when selecting 2 pistols of the same in the gear selection, it only gives you one.
since then it's strange the game freezing or crashing again, i finally could make my ninja!

Oh, it fixes with the same process, just do it in all the folders that have the same file to make yourself sure it work. are you using the latest AIMNAS from here? https://github.com/aimnas/core
sometimes it's a bit tricky to get the links since the "official" page links are outdated and sometimes you search for them in the wrong thread.

I was using it, but i recently bought it, i downgraded to 7883 build and that's what fixed the gear selection thing.
