Devin. He don't trade (this is annoying but...) but you can get him with or without Foxy Lady. Friendly Direct Threaten Friendly Recruit or somesuch worked for me. No maps are copied as such Scorpion... but maybe I laid it out in a tileset that had three main trees then changed my mind for a tileset that has four main trees? Either that or there are more errors in original UB JSD files that I didn't spot until too late. As a side note many of the changes I made underground do not manifest themselves & I don't know why (it says map such & such loaded but in game reverts to original; likewise the odd soldier doesn't appear in above ground maps and is replaced by an original soldier... you can tell coz they don't drop much... oh well adds to the variety!) Did you get Slay's name to behave & or is it only because of your UB version or a mistake of mine? I never got to recruit him coz in the battle for North Varrez some oil drums went up and he got very annoyed... had to be put out of his misery.

I just saved this Mod from the deletion queue at filefront due to inactivity. I can't always be around to do this. Somebody please add a copy to some archive or something.

They went ahead and deleted it anyway by the looks of things. A bit miffed.

I might make some tinkering (e.g. Slay's name in prof.dat, make Devin a bit simpler to recruit etc) and then re-upload.

Small patch coming soon. Three maps plus prof.dat. Need to playtest them first and they're on the wrong side of lake Tracona with no cheats available in this build of UB... slogfest.

I'm a bad toad. Sorry. My test game has not got as far as the maps I want to test and I couldn't get Lynx's cheats working so the test is live and slow. Timescale for patch? By the vernal equinox. I'm also a sad newt because girly and I have finally split proper (amicable though) and a drugged frog because I am. Be kind to your web footed friends.

For my opinion the robots are not nessesery in the game. They are to hard to destroy and they need 1000 bullets to drop dead. Anybody knows ana idea how to destroy them? I found even granades doesn't make any damage. Only think that works is to climb on a roof because the robots can't shoot up.

And who is Rat? He also guards a antique musquete so I have to kill all his group to have it?

I found the tracona weapon systems guns did the trick if you hit em often enough , 2/3 guys laying fire down in bursts .

Yup. Marko: the robots are an essential part of the game; it's part of what makes it this mod rather than that mod. & yes wise shaman Lockie be right, he usually be right. The TWS guns & ammo are of special use against the metal skinned foes.

A rat is a vermin & all vermins must be killed.

It suits the stripped down UB world. If I'd spent more time on it there probably might be some more peaceful type quests in the mix but as it is it's just an anihilation mod... frag them before they frag you. JA Adrenalin!

Hmmm good discovery last night as to why my version of H7 and the overwritten versions of existing underground maps didn't fully take. It's a complicated one so pay attention. In campaigns rename the folder Unfinished Business as Archive (or similar) and make a new empty folder called Unfinished Business. Into this place H7 (ok I know it's not in the release just use a copy for now) and my versions of the existing underground maps (not the 100% new underground maps) which are the two mine ones, two tunnel ones and four underground complex ones. Convert all nine to UB via the mapimporter (they are all UBE at present). Start new game. Or wait for a patch if you lost the plot at some point in that process. If you wait for patch you will be able to see if it took straight away as it changes the ground textures at H7 a bit just so I could tell the difference.

Has anyone had an issue with a critical repetitive crash at K11? I have entered this sector from the East, and hear a firefight near the centre of the map with repeated 'target acquired' speech lines being heard as well as smoke going off. The game also says there's a bloodcats turn, but I suspect this is more robots, never got close enough to see. My game crashes halfway through, and repeated reloads and restarts always result in the same crash. Any guesses? Or should I just avoid this map.

Recently tried accessing F13 from the East broke the game, I was able to travel to the map, but then was warned that I could not place any of my mercs when I got there, so had to soft reset the game.

Can anyone guide me to the extra maps outside of Tracona such as N11, 08-011. L5, L6? I've cleared most of the mainland, including the basement complexes, but can't seem to find a teleport to these other maps, I've also cleared the missile silo, but finishing that finishes the game like in UB.

There are also some boat teleports (first one in F7: South Ricci) which eventually lead to the factory area. I had missed the helicopter too but, now I'm gonna try that route as well.

So has anyone completed this mod?

I've been island hopping and faced a heap of robots and finally cleared L6 (of which had an annoying bug that would often crash the game when enemies walked around in building in the NW part of the map) but get the impression that might be it. I know if you go down into the underground missile complex the game will end like the original UB, but wanted to know if there was any other end game sequence?

Never completed , but I don't think (vaguely remember Will not altering the end , mechanics I guess ) it ends differently , dunno where Will is know , haven't heard from him in years !

I have finessed versions of MFM, MFM Tracona, a 1.07 pot boiler, a UB pot boiler, my finessed versions of UC, Vengeance (the original), NOPS, and last but not least the RU 800x600 which I kind of MFM-hybridised having worked out a neat trick to get the SME to work on it. Send me a PM to discuss further & I will check out your mod of course. I'd also like to know about the Zombies in Drassen I've seen on U-Tube. Can I download those bad boys? I assume they're written over the monsters? I want to make a Walking Dead mod but know it will probably never see the light of day.

additional: I also have a semi finessed version of MFM 1.13 which took ages to sort out in reality and still has some graphic dropouts though is still an improvement on original release. It may well be even the graphic problems are only due to my machine and won't even occur on better rigs.

OOer Will , great to see you back bud ! I'm playing the Vengeance Reloaded mod , it's very interesting and great fun , sadly I haven't yet altered my Windows install (10) and as such it plays slowly . Frustrating ! However , if you have updated versions of your excellent mods , I'd love to see/play them ? Hope you are keeping well and fit .
