Someone suggested "Magic Carpet Ride" for Larry, but to my knowledge "Magic Carpet Ride" is an analogy for cunnilingus (pardon my French).

Why hasen't anyone mentioned "Breaking the Law" for Razor, for example? That's a classic.

The Beatles did Back to the USSR

- and yikes !! I didn't know I knew that.

Weird Al Yankovich would be just the man to take a song like Born in the U.S.A. (Bruce Springsteen + name-band) and make it commie.

What would the English National Anthem be I wonder? If you meant British then GSTQ it is. At school we alawys sang Jerusalem in it's place as a weird kind of English National Anthem though I'm sure Milton would have been disgusted by such overt displays.

Back to songs: IMP: Firestarter (prodigy). Linx: Smack my bitch up (prodigy). Nails: 88 lines about 44 women (by the Nails). Buzz: anything from the Penis Envy album by Crass. Razor: Deep in the woods (Nick Cave & tbs). Haywire: Wildworld (Nick Cave & tbs). Ivan & Igor: 4 minutes from the frontline (cripsy ambulance). Reuben: the mercy seat (Nick Cave). Anybody at all: Eternal War (bolt-thrower live).

Its not really specific choices for Mercs but an overall sound -

Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries [ For the insertion.. Apocalype Now style Wink ]

AC/DC - Back in Black - when Gus/Len/Grizzly/Magic etc, are called in.

Offspring - Bad Habit - fits the Psychos of the team like Fidel, Razor, Haywire etc.

Roger Allan Wade - If you're gonna be Dumb you gotta be tough - Gasket ! gotta love his Southern charm lol

Elgar - Enigma Variations - Scope/Sidney, gotta have that English touch and class Razz

And.. if you really want that authentic Merc/Combat team feel... the Indy 500 Theme that was used in the Delta Force always makes me have a stupid grin, purely because its so tacky but great lol

Mmmh "marriage is -not-bliss" ?!?

Having bought those boots, now you have to polish them for the rest of your marital life.

Two of these I didn't get ...

'My grandmother drowned in the grotto at Lourdes .'
I understand there's miracle-baths at Lourdes that wash away all sin/disease.
Surely that's not what you meant, I hope granny can laugh about my nastyness.

'You stuck my heart in an old tin can and shot it off a log .'
? there's no relation to the cans that can be seen tied to a just-married ride.

That sepultura necromancer stuff, is it supposed to be music ?? All i hear are some dogs barking. I'd never listen to new age crap, death metal or rap or whatever it's called. Like Bob Seger said : "...today's music ain't got the same soul, i like that old time rock n' roll...the kind of music that soothes the soul...." Nuff said !
Also, i am not a merc ;p
