Hello! So I recently tried to upgrade to a newer version of Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13 (German)
However that went kind of weird suddenly every mercenary had the voice of Barry Unger.
Now smart as I was, I didnt create a backup, and I have no idea where my CD's of Jagged Alliance 2 are. + Im using the german version, and this game actaully has really good german audio.

So I downgraded to 7609 which was the latest german version i could find.

However now the Militia face icons in those auto-fights are crepitus. I have literal monsters fighting for me now, which would be nice but i have a hard time making out which units are blue green or elite. Im not really sure how to fix that, anyone got some ideas?

First of, the Barry Unger voices is a result of using the new exe with old data, specifically an old MercProfiles.xml that doesn't have the tag that states which vocie a merc should use.

Second, by the icons you probably mean Interface/SMFACES.sti, which is different. Try to get the old version.

Ultimately, using a new exe with old data does not work well.

You gotta wash your hands before picking up a baby. They can see the bacteria burning into their flesh.
