How do I get past Spike? Flo has leadership 30 and still can't get in. What's the requirement??

EDIT: I believe I got Flo's Leadership up to 45 and she couldn't never get past Spike. Other mercs (e.g. Blood) could get in at only 15 Leadership.

I remember Ira getting past Spike and her leadership was around 40 to mid 40s.

Sometimes I just jumped through the windows and they didn't really react to that much big grin

Depending on the map you can also gain access through a locked backdoor or if you're really desperate blow up a wall. big grin

Thanks. Blood can get in with leadership 15. However, Flo seems bugged.

I can't find the locked back door. Are we both referring to D5 where the Extreme Fighting occurs? Thanks again!

On WF maps there are two side entrances to the bar which are locked. So depending on the map there may be alternatives to the front door.

According to ingame observations it does not only depend on ldr but also lvl,
perhaps even personality plays a minor role, so Flo is probably not bugged.


Besides, there is another option that is free of undesired consequences, with at least 2 variations:

1)Fire at the door!
kingpin faction, respectively any other, should not turn hostile if one of their members is killed that way.

2)Rocks!

Would it break the Extreme Fighting function if Spike is dead? He is a part of the routine when he fetches Kingpin after giving Darren money.

Unfortunately i cant tell you whether it will break the extreme fighting function,
as i dont even remember whether i tried to initiate it,
or just killed Spike out of curiosity how the rest of kingpin faction reacts, followed by reload.

If the fighting script itself would not be so fragile, I would say just give it a try,
as the negative effect is most likely an infinite sand clock,
similar like in this YT video at ~ 40m32s
where the "go to treatment room in hospital" script collides with "Kingpin assassin appears and ambushes mercs" script.
(too bad, the assassins timing was perfectly on spot >;)
but there is this fighting club related "merc goes into crouching position and looks in random direction" bug,
which is most likely related to fighting club, and may reveal ittself at a much later point,
so better just jump throuh a window that you broke with a thrown item,
that is, unless you play a mod where this triggers hostility, or loyalty drop etc.

No, not my vids, else i would have made that clear,
it was just a good example for the sand clock/hanging game, certainly not for competent gameplay;)
For that i can recommend the 1.13 r4870 JA2 LP by Moerges on YT,
despite being abandoned and not really up to date in matters of additional 1.13 features,
his patience and caution are exemplary (close to mine;)
iirc he produces only 3 major errors during the >200 h of gameplay.
As funny JA2 LPs I can recommend One F Jef's JA2 1.13 Iron Man runs.
