I've noticed playing older versions of 1.13 that multiple starting gear kits are available at AIM and quite a good addition this is. Unfortunately I find it a bit disappointing that should you recruit a merc and then dismiss him, or their contract ends and should you re-recruit them at a later date you no longer have the option of choosing another starting kit for them to bring to the fight.

Would it be possible to consider making multiple starting kits available for all sanctions or recruitment contracts, not just the first one? Should you wish to hire a merc more than once?

I'm not sure why multiple kits would make a difference here. The basic idea is that everytime we hire a merc, we can choose one of the kits, regardless of whether we've already bought that kit in an earlier recruitment process, right?

Had a look at it - when we hire someone from AIM/MERC, we set a flag if we bought any equipment too. On rehiring we don't offer any gear if that flag is present. The easiest option would be too simply not set that flag.

Naturally this then makes it possible to hire the same guy for a day over and over again to get the gear, but... is that really an issue? I'll see whether there are any serious cons raised on Discord, otherwise I could make this an option.
