Just recently downloaded 8741, and was quite excited for better hand grenade usage. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get this to work... using the transformation feature doesn't work, and setting DELAYED_GRENADE_EXPLOSION to TRUE doesn't affect it either. Fiddling with the <fExplodeOnImpact> tag doesn't do anything. I've even tried deleting <fExplodeOnImpact>, but those grenades are still going off on impact as usual.
I'm probably missing something obvious here, as usual - can anyone help?

Delayed grenade explosions feature works in r8644 and doesn't work in r8674, so it was broken somewhere between these revisions, probably in r8653.
Also r8653 breakes the DELAYED_GRENADE_EXPLOSION option since originally it was intended to make all grenades blow up with delay, to improve grenade balance. With this change, player has option to not use delayed explosion with GLs so it works as cheat for player now, breaking game balance.
Update: fixed in r8771.
