I would like to change the parameters of grenades so they don't explode randomly when my merc is hit with a nearby explosion.

I have tried changing the volatility parameter to 0 in the xml files. However, the grenades can still be triggered by nearby explosions. Any idea how to disable this behaviour?

@crackwise item with ubVolatility = 0 cannot be activated from another explosion.
Also with actual trunk you can use LBE which protects from chain explosion.

As of r8335 & GameDir r2348, Items in a slot granted by LBE with the flag LBE_EXPLOSIONPROOF (<ItemFlag>2147483648</ItemFlag>) are protected from explosion damage (and cannot cause a chain reaction).

Hi Sevenfm, thanks for the reply. I am currently playing with AR + SDO + AI+ (v1480). So I have set ubVolatility = 0 for all the explosives in the Explosives.xml file in the Data-SDO\TableData\Items folder.

To test it I have been throwing grenades into explosives lying on the ground (grenades, tnt, etc.) I see that they still explode and get into chain reaction. Am I doing something wrong or does ubVolatility not work as intended?
