I have the 1.13 mod installed in JA2 and cannot work out how to reload an empty or half full magazine in tactical view from a box of ammo purchased from the gun shop online. Can anyone please help me out?

I had a few mercs die because their mags went dry and I could not work out how to reload the magazines mid fight.

You just pick up the ammo box with the mouse and click on the weapon to produce magazines. I never tried that during combat as my mercs are always prepared in advance. It's impractical anyway to start hand-loading mags when the bullets are already flying. Maybe it's forbidden during combat for that reason?

 Once you make magazines as silversurfer described, partial mags can be refilled using another partial or full mag by picking up the donor mag by left-clicking it, then right-clicking the mag to be filled to open the mag's properties, and dropping the donor mag on the slots.
