I'm just wondering how everyone deals with the last few enemies alive in any given sector. I usually find it annoying, especially during city takeovers at night, when there is one or two enemy units hiding some where on the map. I just spread out and search, but sometimes that can take a while. I was wondering if there was a better way...

Kitty, the stealth and shotgun expert. Did quite well in surpising the opposition in both daytime and nighttime operations.
Whenever I needed to find the last enemy. I ran around like a madman and shot at trees, rocks, buildings, etc. Might seem a bit wasteful, but he already goes though an entire inventory of shells near the beginning of a day.
Back when men were men, and women were women, we didn't need no machines telling us how to hunt!
*But yeah, if you can find a non cheating way to get ahold of one. X-ray devices are lovely. They are supprisingly commonplace in DL. But a lot of high tech equipment is.*
Also, you can leave the sector, and come back later. Lull them into a false sense of safety.
Edit: Off topic but highly intresting. In MGS3, the active sonar works on a similar level. Except that it uses sound and then pings the enemies on the radar.
I'm pretty darned sure that submarines have something like that.
I have no idea how the x-ray detector actually works :'
