Do you have enabled "INDIVIDUAL_MILITIA" in "JA2_Options.ini"? If this is on, costs are calculated differently. They are defined in "TableData\MilitiaIndividual.xml".
Ah thank you. Yes indeed, this option is enabled.

On Revision 8796 I am often crashing to black screen when the enemy attacks Drassen occupied by mercs + militia.
I am using the same ja2.exe that came with the above package.
I don't recall making many changes with ini editor except making enemies drop all items, it's a pretty "stock standard game". This crash has happened on a previous new game as well, I thought restarting would help.
Anyone else experience this?
I'm pretty new to 1.13 so it could be I missed something. My JA2 is the Steam Wildfire bundle, so I extracted the 8796 files to the game directory under steamapps folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ja2_wildfire\JA2Classic) and all seems to be working perfect until I am attacked in Drassen.

Have a weird bug in Drassen C13 & D13 where once I kill the first yellow shirt, the rest of the garrison disappear and the game moves out of forced turn mode.
game_log.log has this@
*** Sun May 24 15:30:08 2020 ***
[1063.85] : ERROR : File : vobject.cpp
Line : 922
Location : BltVideoObjectToBuffer
No Source Object
stack_trace.log has this:
*** Sun May 24 15:30:08 2020 ***
[1063.85] : Backtrace:
Would there be anything else that would be useful?
Thanks
UPDATE
Doesn't replicate when starting a new game... Weird.

There is an exe for UB with the same number as the build it comes with. Like in "JA2_8796_UB.exe".
What's it for? When trying to use it for starting either UB-Vanilla or UB-113, it won't work.
With UB-Vanilla I get error about missing logicalBodytype.xml and game freezes.
With UB-113, after the starting settings, the game won't change to Laptop. Blackscreen and music,
and that's it. I thought this might be an Intro problem, but turning Intros off in UB didn't change this.
In 7609 I can start both with the UB.exe, no problems.
So, is this UB-exe in recent version even updated? Or is it rather a problem in the UB-part of the GameDir?
Is there something else to do beside the vfs and ini choosing in the ini-editor, like in 7609 ?
Or is it broken?
Confusing.
How to get: latest 1.13, 7609 and more | 7609 SCI (eng) | Compiling+SVN
I need more details. (Didi Hallervorden) Report message to a moderator

I just launched UB with the SVN build with the debugger attached, and I could get to tactical before it crashed. All during that black screen, the game is doing a lot of stuff, but I don't know why it's so slow in loading up whatever it is doing. The game was terribly laggy and all of the mercs had Barry's voice files and the contract selection was the old 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks option even though UB shouldn't have that. Our hero pilot still sounded like himself though. After the crash and as Jerry's telling he's hightailing it back to Arulco, I started getting nullptr exceptions at Dialogue Control.cpp on line
pSoldier = FindSoldierByProfileID( (UINT8)QItem->uiSpecialEventData, FALSE );
Seems UB is quite broken at the moment.

The header at
Depri's v1.13 Builds and Packages
is saying:
"Where can I find all the JA2 v1.13 unstable builds? They're gone from the face of the Earth!!!
No they're not. Depri's keeping a pretty up to date archive on his OneDrive. Check this regularly: this repository.".
Following the link at "this repository" sadly doesn't open his OneDrive.
Instead I get:
error
code "generalException"
message "General Exception While Processing"
Same with the link at starting post of thread.
Is there any information available on the status and future prospects of the repository?
Like: It's a temporary problem, don't be so unpatient and ungratefull.
Or: We sadly must inform, that after years of honourably spending his time and effort, the user has to stop his service.
And since the written form is prone to misunderstandings, I like to clarify, that this isn't meant sarcastic or ungratefull at all.
I used the repository tons of times in the past and allways thought that this is an incredible service.
I'm just wondering if it's worth to stop by here any more or not.
Edit:
Depri kindly asnwered to my curiosity on Discord:
"it's on indefinite hold until I can find the motivation to redo the whole process, there should be alternatives on the forum anyway so I don't rate it as particularly pressing either."
I do agree, there are alternatives available. That said, during the time of the hold, it might be a good idea to highlight the access towards those a little more.
And again, we all should be gratefull that he did the job for all these years. Thanks!

I am very confused about builds.
I want to use all the Flugiente cool stuff, but also wanna use sevenfm AI tweaks. It looks like they are already incorporated, but scrolling through different years in forum gives me a headache.
If I would use Jenkins' SCI, what will I actually get?
