Can somebody help me because I cannot find Tais SCI anywhere. Most of the links to the SCI are now dead. It is frustrating because I really want to play JA21.13 but without the SCI, I can't play it. Can somebody help me please. Thanks.

If you are looking for recent SCI of standard 1.13 you could use one of the download-sources from How to get: latest 1.13, 7609, feature-descriptions and more

But since you are specifically refering to Tais SCI, my guess would be that you are probably trying to use a mod that names it as requirement (maybe UC-1.13 ?). If this guess is right, try to tell for which purpose you need Tais SCI (which mod, which version, etc). This may could be useful to get more precise help.

I was looking all over for 1.13 but since links like Kermi's are down, I found Jenkin's link. When I tried to play JA2, I got a warning that said: "Number of tilesets does not match". I think I needed to download the SCI to do that, so now I'm downloading your SCI from one of your links. Thanks.
On a side note, I have learning difficulties so a lot programming or complex modding can be really confusing for me but it's nice to have communities of people like you to help me. Thanks. I'll tell you if I run into anymore errors.

Oh dear, I remember. I downloaded your SCI from your mediafire account, copied the files into my JA2 files then when I tried to play JA2, the screen still said: "Number of tilesets does not match". I think I need some help here.

If you want to play the latest JA2 v1.13, you need to do:

- instal your original JA2 game (from CD, Steam, etc.)

- don't use Windows-Folders like "Programs" for this

- download latest JA2 v1.13 SCI (The SCI of today from Jenkins goes by this name "JA2-Unstable-r8916-g2579.7z", the one from my mediafire by "SCI_JA2_v1.13_r8916_g2579.7z")

- the SCI is a zip-archive (7z), unpack this zip

- copy anything inside the unpacked SCI into original JA2

Folders should look like this:

original JA2:

Data

-------------------------

original JA2 with SCI:

Data
Data-1.13
Data-UB
Docs
Multiplayer
Profiles
Tools

I tried both SCI myself (Jenkins and mine) and both work like they should. So, I'm not sure what went wrong, but what you can do is:

First try to check, if you did the instal the same way as described above.

If not, use the method from above and try again. All nescessary Tilesets should be there, if doing so.

----------

In general, the Tilesets which 1.13 is looking up, are in the Folders Data\Tilesets and Data-1.13\Tilesets and in the file Data\Tilesets.slf
With installation described as above, those should all be in place.

At the moment, the only thing I could imagine to trigger a message like "Number of tilesets does not match", is, that you try to use a mod that has a different number of Tilesets than usual. This is defined either at "ja2set.dat" in Folder Data\BinaryData or "ja2Set.dat.xml" in "Data-1.13".

So, I may misunderstood and you want to play a mod for 1.13 - instead of standard 1.13. If so, I need to know which mod you want to play.

As far as I know, Tais-SCI is used only in descriptions for UC-1.13, AFS-1.13 or maybe some old AIMAS version.

So, if you wanna use one of those (or any other mod), you gotta tell which one - otherwise I won't know what else to advise.
