- Item 1691 = Sniper Bag has nasLayoutClass "1". In game it fits to the back (= backpack). Shouldn't this be "32"?

- Item 1697 = Radio Set has nasLayoutClass "1". In game it fits to the hip. Shouldn't this be "16"?

- Item 1766 = Tactical Sling (not the Rifle-Sling) has nasLayoutClass "1". In game it fits to the hip (= combat pack). Shouldn't this be "16"?

- Item 1768 = RPG Pack has nasLayoutClass "1". In game it fits to the back. Shouldn't this be "32"?

- Item 1784 = Sport Bag has nasLayoutClass "1". Shouldn't this handled like a combat pack, so this be "16"?

No. It's basically a shotgun in direct-fire mode not a launcher.

I have to check them - the first 2 are the same as they are in 1.13. The radio set & tactical sling always fit in the backpack slot, thought the tactical sling should probably be a combat pack and able to combine with backpacks. The RPG Pack should be a backpack, and also the sport bag - it's not supposed to be easily accessible during combat.

I just tested changing the radio to NASLayoutClass 32 (backpack), and it makes it a combat pack so there's something else at play with miscellaneous type items that have not presented problems with a NASLayoutClass of 1. Each needs to be tested if changed.

I've found the culprit(s) to the Bobby Ray crash - it's one of 8 very similar items: 1648, 1663, 2572, 2673, 2705, 2706, 2707 & 2708. If I comment out these items there is no crash. I'll investigate further in the morning.

Looks like the game crashes on 2707.
More exactly, the game crashes when trying to display big item image.

r1946:
New option BR_INFO = TRUE in [Extended Options] section of Ja2_Options.INI will write id of current displayed BR item into Logs\BRInfo.txt file.
LoadTileGraphicForItem: added assert to check if file exists and display file name, ubGraphicType and ubGraphicNum.

Hello,

like Ira says: "I've all done."

Mostly every Item - 0 to last - (I didn't touch some internal items like smoke, explosion, placeholder) now has a nasLayoutClass.

But I can't it upload as it is a xml-file and an txt-file (What I've done to each Item.).

How do I convert the two files for upload here?

Or could I send it to you as an e-Mail?

The only time that is supposed to happen after you've been admitted into the basement is if the rebels have turned hostile (or maybe if you lose control of A9/A10, I'm not sure but I would guess so). Can you give me any details about Miguel & Carlos and battles in A9/A10

I tried it again after your posting and after some attempts I am guessing that the entry is covered by some icons in the chest nearby.
After taking these unimportant (sorry) items the entry was visible now!

No problem. I can move that crate with the items so it doesn't interfere. Little fixes like that can mean a lot.

Here is the Bobby Ray Crash Bug Patch. You also need to download Sevenfm's latest executable - which I always suggest you should do anyway. Unzip this Patch into your main game folder, merging Data-AV folder and overwriting all files.

Much thanks for Lynx2005 and Sevenfm for their invaluable help.

I am still investigating other reports so there will be another patch soon.

I have tried to recruit 36 RPC, all successfull without such who should come directly (Skyrider - unsuccessfull the first time since vanilly; Joey and last Darrel from the Hicks - unsuccessfull after this rendezvous).
The best of them: Living in San Mona and others waiting in Chitzena. One of them first after meeting Carmen. And naturally Miguel and Carlos.
But I think 999999 Dollar are not enough for terrorists and "Kingpins".
Training elite-militia to win against so many enemies is very expensiv.

I play now with ten AE and 22 RPC. But I am waiting for this Bobby-Ray-patch for buying TIMS-"packs" to carry much inventory and better night-vision.

Whenever I try and download V12 on my GOG Jagged Alliance 2, My game goes at a snails pace; Do you why that is? And am I downloading it wrong? (I might be because I have a difficult time getting these mods to work like AIMNAS with big maps)

I'm using a GOG version of JA2 also, so it isn't that. Do you have the Win8/10 fixes? That's what it sounds like.

Check your file structure. I'll amend what I said about using the GOG version - I do, but I don't connect to GOG to use it, I use the standalone installers.

Yeah, I think i figured out why Brain's main weapon doesn't show up. I'll check on Scream. i just didn't have time to try the fix, and have it listed for the next (hopefully last) patch). I think it's because he has 2 main weapons - the standalone grenade launcher may be counting as a main weapon as well as his rifle. In any case, I'm tired of fighting the gearkits and will give him either/or in his 5 kits. It's easy enough to outfit them once in-country if they have enough to start.

Extra screams should be bad* sounds in BattleSNDS folder, I think AV has them as well as 7609 modpack, and VR has even more. You just copy them into folder and they should be used automatically.
If by headsup display you mean tactical panel, it can be enabled in the ingame options, and you need to select 2 less mercs when starting the game than current resolution can support.

No answer with regard to depots in Arulco.
It's a damage. Sorry.
I visite one sector and that is the result. Or should I save first and reload and I have another result? Or the result is ever the same since I began the new game?
Is this of no interest?

Sorry, I misunderstood you.

Yes, there are many random items in most of the sectors. The gun smugglers all have random items in their stash. The army facilities all have random items. I am not sure if the game spawns all random items at the start of the game, or only spawns random items when you first enter a sector. maybe one of the coders can answer that question.
