1. I visite Bobby Ray to buy p.e. TIMS BACKPACK or nightvisions. I am scrolling and then CTD!
2. I play NOVICE to learn this mod, named Arulco vacations. Vacations? No, this is hard work, very hard work. I am training militia in Omerta, looking south: enemies, enemies. I got Drassen, and am training militia; interrupt: enemies. I am healing my mercs: enemies, enemies. I look into Ja2-Options.ini: Loyality by default: 42 %(!). Sorry, no chance.
I play "Enemies drop all: No", but I am looking into cupboards for items: very hard work.
Sorry.
The maps are very good. Money 999999 is better than original and we have Ja2-Options.ini and no lock down any mine or so. But the enemies are to much. Can I change this? Thank you.

I am playing vers. 1.11
In the Ja2-Options.ini: ENABLE_ALL_TERRORISTS = TRUE.
I got Terry, Joe, Annie and Jasmin in the same sector.
But I was seeking for Chris for the second time in the country without success. What's the matter with him? He is the best off all terrorists IMO.

I'll try that, thanks. Also have noticed a few buildings here and there don't seem to be revealing right, the roof stays overhead, it gets janky with clicking, nothing is accessible in them.
It was the administrator hiding off in a corner, exactly like one would expect an mining admin for a totalitarian regime would do. (it just happened to be the last place I checked.)

That'll be nice to have when I get back around to Chitzena. There's a similar building at the Drassen SAM site.
Another one spotted is Bull complaining about Biff being on the team, when Biff isn't on the team. Not sure which merc is actually the issue, but I've got the rebels as well as Hamous, Hurl, Igor, Leech, Leon, Sam, Smoke, and Static. I think it might be Leon, Sam, or Hurl.

Entering San Mona mine bugs the game. I'm sent to AI but my mercs are invisible and can't move.
Also one day after I arrive in San Mona, Kingpin forces becomes hostile without provocation. I didn't stole his stash, but I stole a bunch of forbidden items without no one seeing.
I think I also stealthly killed a civilian, can't remember the faction, maybe Contrabandista or Gangster (Kingpin), but no one became hostile and I kept walking, talking and looting just fine even in different San Mona sectos.
Maybe is it? The just realised later what I did? If that so... wich one? Stealing, killing or both?
edit: Gaston suddenly quits, took me a while to figure out it was because he hated someone in the team (Raider most likely). Is there any way to check mercs relations?

I'm assuming you are using the BETA and not the v12 release. There is a fix for the Mine Bug that was posted earlier.
It is not possible in JA2 to steal forbidden items without the owner(s) finding out. In AV San Mona there are some items you can steal, and some you can not. it depends who it belongs to.
The Contrabandistas are Tony's gun runners. If you killed one of them then Tony & Hans and a few others go aggro, but not the Gangsters. Since all the Contrabandistas are in buildings their first inclination (being outnumbered) is to take cover.
The Gaston voice file is a XML glitch. I'll check on it. Basically, he's pissed at somebody he doesn't like who is in his squad . . . and is using the Biff voice file to express his displeasure.
EDIT: He doesn't like Bubba.

Thanks for the fix! I noticed the fix has a new Ja2_Options.INI, I changed some stuff in mine. I don't remember most, but I can go over it again, but if you can make it easier for me can you tell me the code lines to change in the INI file so I can apply the changes to mine?
*EDIT: I just compare the two INI, no difference apart the changes I made and one for enemy tooltips. So I assume is safe to keep using mine.
So there is no way to know who I'm stealing from and eventually they find out even if they don't see and go hostile in the act? Since we are on the topic... in the same building with the box ring there is some safes with money inside. The money isn't forbidden. Is EVERYTHING that is not forbidden safe for taking apart from Kingpin stash? Other than Kingpin faction going hostile, what is the downside of stealing from other factions?
I read about relations and Gaston MercProfiles in your blog and it seens he hates americans very much... and his team was mostly americans. I loaded a save a few hours before he snap and left him alone. He is ok. I just started to fiddle with this relation thing, lever really cared. I'm getting the hang of it with your blog JA2 wiki "How Does It Works", problem is AV files doesn't have a PROF.dat to use PROEDIT with neither I'm can load AV files in XML Profile Editor. Any tips?

Do you know any work around to access the mine without going through Kingpin? (i want to fight his assassins)
I tried teleport cheat but it doesn't work for underground, or at least I couldn't make it work.
Edit: could it work to go back to v11, go to the mine, do whatever I have to there, come back and change back to v12?

The magazine "7.5x55MM GP-11 24 M" is crashing the game when seen in inventory, either merc or sector.
Details: I ordered a bunch of things from BB and it started to crash my Drassen airport sector inventory, so I sent one merc to take each item out of the delivery box one by one and opened his inventory until I identified the culprit. Fun thing is the merc still can take and hold the item without the crash, that will only happen if I open his inventory, so I took in my merc hands, moved to a safe space, dropped it on the floor with SHIFT+Q and nuked it out of existence with a rocket launcher. Instant work around and I'm proud of this destructive solution to keep playing before a fix!

Also, minor non game breaking bug. When turning ammo into boxes, flechette shotgun ammo and lockbuster ammo boxes are with each other graphic and name changed. It don't change the type of the ammo "inside the box", loading the gun or converting into different clip sizes gives you the original ammo type, just the boxes names/graphics are changed.

If you think it happens to enemies with random gun entry of Map Editor, I have bad news... I spotted one case where it wasn't random gun entry. The entire inventory is the same, can't be coincidence!

You should think about getting rid of Map Editor inventory for enemies completely. Seeking out cases like above will take ages. And this glitch is quite annoying...
You can use summary GUI of Map Editor to check if a map has enemies with inventory specified (detailed):

Though hurry is the last thing needed here. First of all you have to find out exactly what causes this glitch!
Why do you always add Isolated Entry Point to your maps? It is special one which has to be placed ONLY when needed (in veeery rare cases...). If placed in a wrong place it causes troubles ... (I describe'em below).

G3 map has that terrible bug I reported long ago, when I did not dive into Map Editor, for some earlier AV version for this same G3 (or maybe another G3... don't remember at all, but that's G3 for sure!). I attack the sector with 2 squads from east. First my squads get placed at Central Entry Point as by airdrop or ambush (there was no message saying it is an ambush). Then (luckily very soon) my merk ("Jack", see screenshots) sees an enemy who is outside legal territory of the map and I understand at once IT IS... MY OLD FRIEND... this bug...
I use cheats and see there are only half the enemy squad (exactly the half! 8 out of 16) inside map boundaries. I kill them all (alt+o) and see: yep, half the enemy were on "unachievable area" of the map. I load the save I made on entering the battle and see lacking enemies, re-spawned by re-loading! It is kinda workaround for this bug. But what caused it?
I load the map in the editor and see two bad signs:
- Isolated Entry Point while it is not needed!
- Central Entry Point is too close to the edge of the map!
I fix these issues and voila, map loads without the bug. Maybe fix, maybe luck... only prolonged testing will show... looks worth trying!
Another problem from wrong placed Isolated Entry Point: in sector G6 by attack from east only half of the edge is available for spreading merks. Just delete Isolated Entry Point to fix it.

MovementCosts.xml requires a bit of editing and this don't get updated in current campaign (new game only) so take care.
I share these 3 maps for you. You can use them as reference... or just as ready fix & mod. I think they are safe to use. I only changed Entry Points there... plus mountain passage, touched nothing else.
